While Kapable emphasizes compiling resources and programming for families and Caregivers navigating intellectual and developmental disabilities, we also recognize that the best way to ensure quality events is to provide them ourselves.
Down Syndrome & Friends Community Playgroup
Born out of a need to connect, feel included and find resources, we created the Down Syndrome Community Playgroup. We connect families of children with intellectual/developmental disabilities with each other and existing community resources to help make the journey of raising a child with a disability more bearable. We believe that community is what get's us through the hardest times and seek to create one full of inclusivity and acceptance.
