Join the DC Special Education Hub and My School DC online on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, for our Family Empowerment Series training "Choosing the Right School for your Special Education Student."
In this session, we will present valuable tools and information to guide you through applying to the schools that best fit your student(s) and provide all participants with the opportunity to ask questions of both offices. We understand that the yearly school lottery can bring questions, concerns, and frustrations. This session will let us support you every step of the way, ensuring a smoother and more accessible experience for both you and your child!

Identifying the right school,
Applying, matching, and enrolling, and
Post-enrollment.
